It’s cold, it’s wet, it’s winter… AKA the perfect time to plan a tropical vacation! Now, I know planning trips can seem very daunting - and frankly, they can be expensive - but I’m here to help you book a worry-free, won’t-break-the-bank, all inclusive vacation.
Everyone always asks me how I travel so much, and this is it: I plan trips far in advance and use a few tools to get the best deals.
Before I go on, I want to ease your minds, because I know a lot of you are not going to believe me on this one. But all of the pictures you see in this post are from vacations I’ve booked through the sites I am about to tell you. And if you have any questions or doubts, please don’t hesitate to reach out (you can do so on all my social channels or through my blog here)!
To use these sites is very easy:
1. Choose Air/Flight + Hotel, since we’re doing all inclusive.
2. Input all your info - if you’re not sure where you want to go, you can look at their destinations and browse around!
3. Once your results pop up, you can use filters for all inclusive (yes), adults only, etc. You can also filter, which I usually do by lowest price.
4. You can compare results to find your perfect hotel.
5. When you’re ready to book, you can pick whichever flight options work best for you.
6. You may be given the option for transfers, book it! This means they will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel. If you don’t book it through the site, you will probably have to do so on your own.
7. Book it! There are payment plans too, if you need it.
8. Print out travel docs that they send through email and bring with you on your trip.
9. Relax and enjoy your trip!
Take your time when using these sites. I usually browse for a few weeks to a few months before I book anything (mostly because I can’t make up my mind, but I also watch the prices). I’ve been to Mexico twice using these sites, but I am also interested in using them in the future for Jamaica and the Virgin Islands.
One of the best things about all inclusive trips is that you do not have to worry about anything! Flights, hotel, food & drink are all included. So all you need to do is dig your toes in the sand and sip that ice cold drank on your hassle-free vacation.
*Now this is very important: to ensure you are getting the LOWEST/BEST prices possible, make sure you are using these sites through an incognito window. If you don’t know how to do that, right click your browser and “open incognito window.” This is called private browsing, which means your history is not stored. If you continue to go back to the same sites, the sites know and will raise prices since they see you’re interested.
Here are the sites, I’ve linked them so feel free to click right on them!
All Inclusive Outlet
Through this site, I booked one of my favorite vacations ever. Did a whole blog post on it, which you can read here. My best friend and I went to Riviera Maya, Mexico and stayed at Unico 2087. If you have a chance to go, I highly recommend this hotel. Everything is included, obviously, but so are excursions, spa, and salon - all you have to do is pay gratuity. We went ziplining and explored a cenote for less than $40 total. And did I mention our hot stone massages? Pure bliss.
Vacation Express
I had planned and booked an entire 10-day trip to Puerto Rico only for it to be hit with Hurricane Maria 6 days before we left. Sadly, we had to reroute. One of my best friends told me about this site, and I was able to book a 10-day trip to Mexico with less than a week before we left. We stayed at Occidental at XCaret, and it was magical. My favorite part was the salt water pool that was connected to the ocean, so you got to swim with fish all day.
Don’t forget to let me know what you’ve planned using these tricks! I’d love to hear from you.
